Standing on the shoulders of giants! ❤️

While in Washington, D.C., I had to make a special stop at the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) headquarters, the historic Dorothy I. Height Building!

It was especially meaningful to stand in a place that represents the legacy, leadership, and resilience of so many extraordinary women who paved the way for us.

Their work continues through the service, leadership, and empowerment we bring to our communities today.

What an amazing afternoon! 💜🤠

I was honored to attend Bootin’ & Brunchin’ for a Cause today and to support the Lean On Me Cancer Support Foundation as an Advocate Sponsor.

Founded by First Lady Davina Williams of St. James Community Church, Lean On Me is doing such meaningful work supporting those impacted by cancer — and today’s event was a beautiful reflection of that mission.

The panel was absolutely amazing, but watching the survivors walk was one of those moments that stays with you. The strength, the stories, the celebration, the love in the room… just powerful. 💜

I’m grateful that Lasha Hammett State Farm could help support this important work, and even more grateful to have been there to experience it.

Congratulations, Davina, on an incredible event! Boots, brunch, purpose and community — all for a great cause. 🤠💜
