Today was a bitter sweet moment in our office as we celebrated the retirement of our very own Mark Boyk, whose last day at Alpena Agency is April 30th, 2026.
It is hard to put into words Mark's dedication, commitment, care for his community and customers spanning over a 30 year insurance career. We are so fortunate that so much of that career he spent with us - not only because our agency benefited, but because we have been able to share much of our lives with Mark!
Known for his sarcasm and quick wit, we already miss the low chuckles that could be heard as Mark walks by our cube-mates and drops a one liner.
Mark will be in office for two more days - please stop by to say hello, congratulate him, and schedule a tee time with him for this summer. His calendar is already filling up!

We do expect he will be dropping in every now and again with his grandkids to spread smiles around our office - something we know he isn't ready to retire from yet :).
