We are excited to have the outdoor Farmer's Market returning to downtown Alma again this year, hosted by the Gratiot Markets! Every Saturday starting this week, stop on down to North State Street at check out the variety of vendors for all sorts of goodies. Make a whole morning of it and check out the local shops downtown while you are at it. Our vendors and our local businesses could use your support.

These dedicated individuals have answered the call to advocate for children who need support, encouragement, and a champion in their corner. Yesterday, May 27, 2026 CASA of Gratiot County held the swearing-in ceremony of four new volunteers.

These advocates have stepped forward to be a steady voice, a source of hope, and a presence for children who need it most. We are grateful for their courage, compassion, and commitment to making a difference.
