⛈️ STORM DAMAGE — PLEASE STAY SAFE, DOWNRIVER!
The storms that rolled through Downriver have left behind downed trees, limbs, power lines and property damage. Please use caution while assessing your home and property.
⚠️ Never approach or touch a downed power line. Assume every line is live. Be especially careful around fallen trees and limbs, as they may be tangled with electrical lines.
If your home or property was damaged:
• Safety first. Stay away from electrical hazards, unstable trees and damaged structures.
• Prevent further damage when it is safe to do so. Cover broken windows, tarp damaged roof areas and move belongings away from areas where water is entering.
• Do not put yourself at risk. If repairs require climbing on a roof, removing large trees or working near power lines, wait for a professional.
• Document everything. Take plenty of photos and videos before cleanup or temporary repairs begin.
• Save your receipts for emergency repairs, tarps, cleanup and other expenses related to protecting your property.
• Contact us if you have questions. We can help you understand your coverage and the best next step.
