😱 Comorbidities can be scarier than the ghosts and ghouls of Halloween. And work comp claims involving comorbidities have more than T-R-I-P-L-E-D in the last 10 years.

They can be the cause of increased work comp costs because they can increase the severity and recovery time for employees who have them. These employees:

🔶 Can take longer to heal from an injury

🔶 Are more prone to develop complications due to an injury

🔶 Are at increased risk of being left permanently disabled by an injury.
