For more than 100 years, the Tri-County Fair has has been at the heart of the Potomac Highlands, bringing neighbors together to celebrate community, heritage, and creating those summer memories we all look forward to each year. From honoring our agricultural and historical roots to good old-fashioned family fun, the Tri-County Fair continues to play an important role in bringing this community together. We’re proud to support the Tri-County Fair with a $30,000 donation from the Burke & Herbert Bank Foundation for some much needed infrastructure and security updates that will help keep all our livestock, participants, and fair-goers safe.

Service Beyond Expectations matters!
A customer recently shared an experience with us from one of our Woodbridge branches -

While visiting another financial insitution, he was asked why he hadn't moved his accounts.

His response? "Let me show you why."

He then called that institution and navigated through multiple automated prompts before reaching a representative. Then he called his local Burke & Herbert Bank branch.

The call was answered immediately-
"Thank you for calling Burke & Herbert Bank, this is Daneisha."
"Hi Daneisha, this is __."
"Hi __!" How are you today? What can I help you with?

That's the difference. Relationships matter and being known matters. This is what community banking means to us.

Our team helped volunteer at the Preston Volunteer Fire Department and Lions Club Carnival this week! Did you know this beloved community event has been held annually for more than 75 years?

The carnival serves as an important fundraiser, helping both the PVFC and the Lions Club raise the resources they need to operate and continue serving the community. Volunteers play a vital role in making it all possible, stepping in to support the event so firefighters can stay focused on their essential work.

At Burke & Herbert Bank, we’re proud to support our communities in meaningful ways. Through our Volunteer Time Off program, team members are encouraged to give back and make a difference in the places they live and work.

Last week, our own Ben Boyle visited Martinsburg Union Rescue Mission to present them with a donation from the Burke & Herbert Bank Foundation for program support. Did you know that just this year, the Union Rescue Mission has provided over 30,000 meals in the Martinsburg / Berkeley County community? For more than 70 years, Union Rescue Mission has provided to local families in need with meals, safe housing, and recovery programs. Burke & Herbert Bank is so proud to support our local organizations that truly care and provide invaluable services to the regions we serve.

For us, commitment to community goes beyond words. We believe in showing up for our customers, our teams, our neighbors, and our communities because we care deeply, and know every action makes a difference.
