Hurricane season along the Atlantic Seaboard officially starts June 1.The six-month period that runs through the end of November is when major storms are most likely to form in the ocean, threatening communities when they approach the coast.This year, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration projects a “below average” hurricane season for the first time since 2015.That could include up to 14 named tropical storms and up to six becoming hurricanes. (Last year’s season saw 13 named storms and five that turned into hurricanes.)

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible moms in our community! 💐

Today we celebrate the women who give so much of themselves every single day- the mothers, grandmothers, stepmoms, foster moms, and mother figures who lead with love, strength, patience, and care.

We also want to give a special thank you to the wonderful mothers here in our office. We are so grateful for the compassion, dedication, and heart they bring not only to their families, but to our team and customers each day.

Helping second graders understand insurance wasn’t something I ever expected—but it’s exactly what this work is all about. At its core, it’s about making sure people truly understand what coverages they need and why it matters.

I once dreamed of being an astronaut. But what I really wanted was to help people—and I’ve found a way to do that right here in our community.

I am grateful for moments like this, sharing what we do and hopefully inspiring the next generation to find their own way to make a difference.
