Cigna is leaving the individual marketplace in 27. They join Aetna who left in 26. When the administration chose not to keep the 2025 expanded subsidies insurers began to back out of Obamacare. Clearly overhaul is needed but the Trump administration only wants to kill the program.
Cigna said Thursday it will exit the ACA individual health insurance business, leaving health plan members in 11 states looking for new coverage next year.
