Shoutout to the amazing D.A.R.E. program and everyone who pours into our kids during such an important age. 💛 Today my daughter graduated from 5th grade D.A.R.E., and honestly… as parents raising kids in today’s world, we NEED all the support, guidance, and positive influences we can get.
Raising kids isn’t for the weak 😅 Between social media, peer pressure, attitudes, mood swings, and trying to figure out if “I’m fine” actually means fine… it takes a village, prayers, patience, and maybe a little caffeine too.
One thing the principal said today that stuck with me was basically: when your kids get to middle school… STAY IN THEIR BUSINESS 😂 And honestly? Message received loud and clear. We’re not being nosy — we’re being protective. Middle school parents, apparently we ride at dawn.
So proud of my girl and all these students for completing the program and learning about making smart choices, leadership, confidence, and responsibility. 🎓🖤
Here’s to raising good humans… one awkward middle school phase at a time 😭✨
