Fort Worth Is Losing an Icon: Coyote Drive-In Is Closing 🎬🌙

After 14 years of movies under the Texas sky, Coyote Drive-In is preparing to close its gates for good on Labor Day.

Since opening in 2011, Coyote has been one of those uniquely Fort Worth places—downtown views, big screens, families piled into cars, and plenty of memories made along the way.

Now there’s only one holiday weekend left to experience it before the screens go dark permanently.

The closing also raises a bigger question: What happens to this prime piece of Fort Worth real estate next? As the city continues to grow and develop, longtime landmarks like Coyote are increasingly giving way to whatever comes next.

Your 750 Credit Score Doesn’t Guarantee Mortgage Approval 😳🏡

Think a 750 credit score means you’re automatically getting approved for a mortgage? Not necessarily.

Your credit score matters—but it’s only one piece of the puzzle. Lenders are looking at your entire financial picture, including your debt-to-income ratio, income, assets, cash reserves, and overall ability to repay the loan.

In fact, someone with a 680 credit score, little or no debt, and plenty of cash reserves could potentially be a stronger borrower than someone with an 800 score who is stretched thin and has no money in the bank.

The takeaway? Don’t let a credit score—good or bad—decide whether you think you can buy a house. Get pre-approved and find out what your actual options are.

Data centers are booming across North Texas — but local leaders are starting to ask whether our infrastructure can keep up.

Dallas is looking at changing its development rules to give the public more input on where these massive facilities are built. Fort Worth is considering a temporary pause on new projects while leaders take a closer look at their impact on electricity, water and surrounding communities.

With North Texas already growing at a breakneck pace, the question is becoming: How do we welcome the technology and investment without putting too much strain on the resources our communities depend on?

And for homeowners, developers and businesses, these decisions could eventually have implications for development patterns, infrastructure investment and real estate.

Get ready, North Texas—the future of transportation is taking off right here in DFW! 🚁⚡

Joby Aviation has established a 45,000-square-foot facility at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport, giving one of the biggest names in electric air taxis a major foothold in North Texas.

Located inside the AllianceTexas Mobility Innovation Zone, the facility will support testing and demonstrations of Joby’s electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft—better known as eVTOLs. ✈️🔋

These aircraft are designed to be quiet, electric, and capable of taking off and landing vertically. Joby is working with the FAA toward integrating them into the transportation system, with DFW positioned to play a major role.

Imagine someday skipping I-35 traffic and flying across DFW instead. 🤯🚁

Transportation changes can reshape where people choose to live, work, and buy homes—and North Texas continues to be right in the middle of that evolution. 🏡📈
