As we observe Memorial Day, our armed forces continue to serve around the world to defend and preserve freedom.

As a veteran-owned business, and with children serving our country, we would like to remind you why we celebrate today. It’s more than BBQs and picnics, family get togethers and a day on the lake.

Today is to remember those that gave the greatest of all sacrifices for us – their lives. For family and friends of those lost, it is a day of remembrance. For all, it should be a day of reverence.

On this solemn occasion, please join me in taking a moment to pay tribute to those who make it possible for us to live as we choose.

“The patriot’s blood is the seed of freedom’s tree.” -Thomas Campbell

Happy Cinco de Mayo! 🌮🎉

At Steve Lynch Wealth Management, we believe in celebrating progress. Today, we’re honoring the 5th of May with the Rule of 5 to help you build a stronger financial future:

1. 5% Increase: Try boosting your investment contribution by 5% this year. Small shifts lead to big results.

2. $5 Daily Save: Small habits add up: saving just $5 a day puts an extra $150 a month toward your goals.

3. 5-Year Outlook: Review your mid-term goals. Where do you want your wealth to be by May 2031?

4. 5 Minutes of Prep: Spend five minutes today reviewing your monthly budget to stay on track.

5. 5 Pillars of Wealth: Ensure you’re balanced across Budgeting, Saving, Investing, Insurance, and Estate Planning.

At the end of the day, our philosophy is simple: Think Big, Start Small, Invest Smart.

Ready to spice up your financial strategy? Let’s "taco" 'bout it!

April is Financial Literacy Month, the perfect time to check in on your finances. 💡

Financially confident people tend to carry less debt, feel more prepared for retirement, and have greater freedom to live the life they want.

Ask yourself:
✔️ Have I reviewed my retirement or 401(k) recently?
✔️ Should I be focused on growing my money—or protecting it right now?
✔️ Are any life changes coming that could impact my income?

If you don’t have a clear plan, we’re here to help. Let’s start the conversation.

Happy April Fool’s Day! 😜
Be on the lookout for anything out of place today, for tricks come in all different varieties. Here are a couple of office-friendly practical jokes to give you and your coworkers a much-needed laugh.

1) Put bubble wrap under a rug. When someone walks across it, it will sound like firecrackers going off. No harm, no foul, right? 😂
2) Tape the bottom of a computer mouse 🖱️ to block the infrared light. It will make it appear that the mouse isn’t working! For added fun, print off a meme to tape to the bottom for an added laugh.
3) Creating a mystery paper clip. Make your coworkers think they have gone crazy when they can’t find an elusive paperclip. 🖥️ The directions are simple:
- Step 1: Place a paperclip in the upper left-hand corner of the scanning bed of your company’s copier. Make sure you position it so that it’s exactly where you’d place an actual paper clip.
- Step 2: Make a bunch of copies (20-30 should do it)
- Step 3: Put the copies back in the printer tray.
- Step 4: Watch the confusion on your co-workers’ faces as they try to find and remove the elusive paper clip.

April Fool’s Day is a good reminder that while surprises can be fun, your financial plan shouldn’t be one of them—clarity and preparation always win.

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Celebrate the day with a few fun facts you might not know about this lucky Irish holiday:
🍀 Blue was originally associated with St. Patrick’s Day, dating back to the 16th century when it was linked to the Order of St. Patrick.
🍀 The tradition of wearing green comes from Irish folklore. Green was believed to help you avoid being spotted (and pinched!) by leprechauns.
🍀 Although it appears in the Irish flag, wearing orange on St. Patrick’s Day is traditionally discouraged due to historical symbolism.
🍀 The shamrock and the color green became powerful emblems of Irish identity and rebellion, which is why they’re so prominent in today’s celebrations.
🍀 A long standing custom suggests that dunking a four leaf clover in whiskey and tossing it over your left shoulder brings good luck for the year ahead.

May the luck o’ the Irish be with you today, and don’t forget your corned beef and cabbage!

🍀 And remember—while luck is wonderful, a solid financial plan is even better. If you’re looking to build confidence for the year ahead, we’re here to help you Think Big, Start Small, and Invest Smart.

🌅 Spring Forward: A Smart Time for a Financial Reset

We’re moving the clocks ahead this Sunday, March 8, and it’s the perfect reminder to refresh more than just your sleep schedule. As we gain extra evening daylight, take a moment to “spring clean” your financial life too.

Here are four quick (and meaningful!) areas to check in on:
🌟 1. Revisit Your 2026 Goals
Two months into the year is a great time to review your savings, spending, debt reduction progress, and any big purchases on the horizon. If life or income has shifted, tweak your goals so they still reflect what matters most to you.
💸 2. Audit Your “Silent Leaks”
Unused subscriptions, forgotten app renewals, duplicate memberships… they add up fast. Do a quick sweep of your statements and clear out anything that no longer serves you.
📈 3. Max Your Contributions
Make sure your retirement contributions are aligned with 2026 limits and your overall plan. If you received a raise or bonus recently, consider boosting contributions now—your end of year self will thank you!
🛡️ 4. Update Your Safety Net
Life changes often mean outdated beneficiaries or coverage. Review your beneficiaries, estate documents, and emergency fund to ensure everything still fits your current situation.

Enjoy that extra hour of daylight! ☀️✨

Happy Presidents Day!

“The legacy of heroes is the memory of a great name and the inheritance of a great example.” – Benjamin Disraeli

Today we celebrate leadership, history, and the values that shaped our nation. Here are a few fun Presidents Day facts:

✨ It’s officially still called Washington’s Birthday.
📜 The holiday dates back to 1800, shortly after Washington’s death.
🏛️ It became the first federal holiday honoring an individual in 1879.
📅 The date was moved to Monday in 1968 to create three day weekends.
🌎 States celebrate it differently; some honor Washington, some Lincoln, some all presidents.

Wishing you a meaningful and inspiring Presidents Day spent with loved ones, history, or a well deserved break!
