🚨 The Fed cut rates by 0.25% today 🚨

💡 But here’s the catch: mortgage rates did not drop by 0.25%.
👉 In fact, they actually ticked up a little.

Why?
✔ Mortgage rates follow the bond market, not the Fed’s rate.
✔ This rate cut was already priced in.
✔ Markets weren’t thrilled with the Fed’s outlook, so mortgage rates edged higher.

🔮 What’s Next?
Rates should gradually improve through 2025… but expect ups and downs along the way (think: two steps forward, one step back).
