Whenever I’m a guest on a podcast or networking in person, I get asked two questions. 1. People always want to know why I left nursing and 2. One quick tip to help people with their money. It’s not a brilliant one-liner. There is not a quick fix or magical tool. Even the software I use won’t change your finances alone. These are the things my successful clients do:

🔑 Have a system that works for them. I teach a zero-based method and give that structure, but then show them how to make it sustainable for the long haul.

🔑 Consistently tracking expenses and planning for them BEFORE they happen, not doing damage control.

🔑 Saying no (sometimes). Delayed gratification is a big part of this. It doesn’t mean no forever, and I certainly don’t want you to be so restrictive it’s unrealistic. But those who have this skill get faster results.

🔑 Being flexible when life changes and you have to adjust your money. No beating ourselves up, just pivoting!

🔑 Understanding that it takes months to get to a good spot, and even longer to make it stick. I don’t promise wild results in my 3 month programs, but I get you started. Financial wellness is a lifelong journey!
