When you have a low credit score and applying for a Credit Card it's IMPORTANT to apply for one that graduates.

As you rebuild you want to show that you can be trusted with higher limits!

After 6 months of proper usage and payments to SECURED card graduates to UNSECURED for most banks and they REFUND your initial deposit.

They also INCREASE your credit line so it reflects that they trust you with larger limits.

If you're feeling stuck or frustrated, go for a walk, take a nap, listen to some music, go for a drive, etc..... It's NOT about giving up, it's about recharging, reconnecting and remembering our goals and what we are working towards.

Some of the things i like to do when I'm feeling stuck is:
-look at pictures of my family and recharge my focus on WHO I'm doing it for.
-go for a stroll
-Listen to a motivating podcast
-take a nap
-go for a drive and listen to some tunes.

You're your biggest critic! Sit back! Recharge! Refocus! More importantly
DON'T GIVE UP!

STEP 1️⃣: Call the credit bureaus by dialing the numbers below🔽
-Equifax: 1-888-836-6351
-Experian: 1-877-284-7942
-Transunion: 1-800-916-8800

STEP 2️⃣ Use Verbiage " I noticed unauthorized inquires on my credit report OR you noticed someone applied for something in your name"

-Make sure to inform the representative that according to the FCRA ( Fair Credit Reporting Act), legally these unverified and unauthorized items MUST BE REMOVED.

STEP 3️⃣ Make sure you gather a list of all of the inquiries that are not attached to your open or closed accounts.

STEP 4️⃣ Wait for updates , usually takes 24-48 hours to update. Some will remove instantly.

DONT ever pay on a negative account in collections. You don’t owe a collection agency a penny! Regardless of the fear tactics they try to use on you.

Once the ORIGINAL Creditor sells your debt to another agency they have forfeited their right to collect any money from you.
