Albion Train Depot was built in 1882, and restored in 1986 with much community fundraising. The railroad was a prominent means of transportation before World War II. In the days before, private automobiles became affordable to everyday citizens. Home of Mowrer Agency, behind the post office. Insurance and bill paying service.

This is good news! Mowrer Agency helps to keep the waiting room open and clean at the depot during business hours, but the maintenance of the building is expensive and this will also help the City of Albion. Thank you to the Cram family. Mary Cram used to stop by the depot and was very interested in the restoration project. If you need insurance for your home or business, stop by this old depot to visit us at Mowrer Agency. Paul Mowrer would have also been very glad to hear about this good news.

Work is expected to begin in spring 2022.
