Quick question for the business owners: if you had to close for a month, would you still make payroll? 🏢

A fire, a storm, or a major loss can shut a small business down for weeks. Business interruption coverage is what replaces that lost income and keeps the lights on while you rebuild. The catch: a lot of policies either leave it out or set the limit way too low.

It takes about five minutes to check, and it's a lot cheaper to fix now than to find out later.

Here's a gap most homeowners never see coming. 💧

If your sump pump quits or a sewer line backs up, the water damage to your basement is usually NOT covered by a standard homeowners policy. Most people find out the hard way, right as they're staring at a flooded floor.

The fix is simple: a water backup endorsement. It adds that protection for just a few dollars a month, and it's one of the first things I check in a coverage review.

Not every agent can cover a farm, I can. 🚜🐔

I represent multiple farm carriers, so I can write coverage for farms and poultry operations that most agents around here just don't handle: the dwellings, farm buildings, equipment, livestock, and the liability that comes with running an operation.

Proud of the recent wins recently! 🏡

Lately I've helped several first-time home buyers protect their new place. Site-built, modular, or manufactured, we've got markets for them all (and bundled the auto to save them some money too). I've also been getting local contractors covered with general liability plus protection for their equipment and vehicles. 🔧
