Capital District Fly Fishers The Capital District Fly Fishers is a fellowship of anglers formed to promote the sport of Fly Fishing for all fish, in all types of water.

Here's what not to do with a big fish that you can't quite grab and pull to shore. Was a little impatient with this fish and tried to just pull him to shore, however the knot didn't hold. Will make sure to bring a net next time!

Another CDFF Cape Cod trip in the books! The fishing was not good this year. We fished hard the entire time but there were simply not many fish around. That's the risk with fishing the ocean! Nevertheless, we all had a good time. Our group has grown over the years and we are up to 16. That's an impressive amount of fly fishers getting together. We had some newcomers to striper fishing and they were some of the lucky few who landed a striper! Looking forward to many more years of fly fishing adventures.......Fish On!
