Authorities say teenagers targeted Lake Park area neighborhood during Dougherty County spring break.

Unfortunately, several customers and neighbors have had their cars broken into over the past few nights in NW Albany. Typically these thieves look for unlocked doors and quick grabs, but that hasn’t been the case this week — they’ve even been breaking windows when vehicles are locked.

While there’s only so much you can do to stop someone determined to cause damage, please make sure to remove all valuables from your vehicles, keep them locked, and double-check that any cameras you have are working and recording. If your cameras capture anything suspicious, please share it with Albany Police.
