Good news for Oregon drivers! 🚗

COUNTRY Financial recently announced a reduction in auto insurance rates for many Oregon clients after seeing positive improvements in driving and claims trends across the state.

Auto insurance rates are influenced by factors such as accident frequency and repair costs. With fewer accidents and lower overall claim expenses, COUNTRY Financial is able to pass those savings along to eligible Oregon drivers.

Oregon clients will see an average auto insurance rate reduction of 7%.

"We regularly review our claims experience to make sure our rates reflect real-world conditions," said Kelvin Schill, Senior Vice President, Property and Casualty Operations. "As costs come down, we look for ways to help our clients manage their expenses—especially during a time when inflation and other economic pressures continue to impact household budgets."

Actual savings will vary from person to person, depending on factors such as driving history, vehicle type, coverage choices, and other policy adjustments.

Short first day of Summer story. As the first day of Summer is today 6/21/2026.

The sun rose earlier than usual, as if it couldn’t wait for the first day of summer. Warm light spilled through the window, landing softly on Mia’s face and pulling her out of sleep. She smiled before even opening her eyes—she could feel it. Summer had arrived.

Outside, the air buzzed with life. Birds sang louder, kids laughed somewhere down the street, and the scent of fresh-cut grass drifted in. Mia slipped on her sandals and stepped onto the porch, letting the warmth wrap around her like a promise.

No school. No alarms. Just endless blue skies and time that felt like it stretched forever.

She grabbed her bike and rode toward her best friend’s house, the wind tangling in her hair, her worries fading with every turn of the wheels. Today wasn’t just another day—it was the beginning of late sunsets, sticky popsicles, and memories waiting to happen.

Summer had started, and it already felt like magic.
