Real estate is local, but relationships can reach far beyond one market. ✨

Our network and the relationships we have built with agents in other communities brought this referral our way. The executor of the estate was a childhood friend of one of our trusted Compass colleagues, and through that connection, we were honored to help bring the home to market.

We jumped right in with property prep, including extreme gardening, painting, staging .m.staging, and thoughtful updates that made the home shine. After the home launched, the new Redfin/Compass Coming Soon partnership brought us a buyer lead, and our team was able to help the buyers as well, creating a successful result for everyone involved.

Watching your kids grow into themselves is one of life’s greatest gifts. 💛

For the past six months, I’ve had the absolute joy of having Gavin working alongside my colleagues at the Berkeley Compass office. Getting to share a little piece of my world with him, watching him learn the business, connect with people, and grow professionally has meant more to me than I can put into words.

I’m so proud of the reliable, thoughtful, hardworking, creative young man he’s becoming. So many of my colleagues have gotten to experience the calm, kind energy that makes Gavin so special, and I’ve loved seeing him carve out his own path.

Now he’s heading off to Truckee for a new adventure and a fresh chapter ahead. While I’ll miss having him nearby, I couldn’t be more excited to watch what comes next for him. And who knows… maybe the real estate bug stuck just a little. 😉

A huge thank you to April Watson, Tracey Eisling and Wilbur Canizalez for the guidance, encouragement, and opportunities you’ve given Gavin over these last few months. It has meant so much to our family, and I’m incredibly grateful he got to learn from such wonderful people.
And thank you to all of the incredible Berkeley Compass agents who welcomed him with open arms, shared your wisdom, and made him feel like part of the family from day one. Watching this community support and encourage the next generation has been really special.
