Alachua County Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers YF&R is a premier leadership and networking organization designed for ag professionals between the ages of 18 and 35. IG:

The program empowers the next generation of agricultural leaders to advocate for the industry and engage with their communities. Alachua County Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmers and Ranchers program includes both men and women between the ages of 18-35. The objective of the Young Farmers and Ranchers program is to provide leadership in building a more effective Farm Bureau to preserve our individual freedoms and expand our opportunities in agriculture.

Let’s be real—working or studying in ag can sometimes feel a bit isolating. Balancing classes, farm life, and career goals is no joke. That is exactly why Alachua County YF&R and UF Collegiate Farm Bureau exist: to make sure you never have to do it alone.

On Thursday, September 17th at 5:30 PM, we’re gathering for an incredible behind-the-scenes nursery tour at Tropic Traditions in Newberry. We’ll hear from Mr. Jim Fleming, walk through active wholesale greenhouses, talk propagation, and catch up with other young adults who truly "get it".
