Summit Federal Credit Union

Summit Federal Credit Union Summit Federal Credit Union- Since 1951, we have proudly been serving all the financial needs of our Credit unions are not-for-profit cooperatives.

In 1951, Summit Federal Credit Union ( then known as Summit School Employees Federal Credit Union), like all credit unions, was organized because a handful of people believed in an idea and were willing to work, to serve, to create and to bring to reality a cooperative financial institution. We organized for mutual protection and financial assistance to our members. Self-managed under federal law,

we provide members with a variety of financial services at competitive rates and strive to meet all their financial needs. Unlike other financial institutions, credit unions are owned and controlled by their members. There are no outside stockholders and no paid board of directors. All of your credit union's excess earnings are returned to members in the form of lower interest rates on loans and higher dividend rates on deposits. The all volunteer Board of Directors is democratically elected by the membership, and each member is entitled to one vote regardless of the amount they have on deposit. Deciding to do financial business with Summit Federal CU is easy. We offer a large variety of member services at competitive prices in a friendly, personal atmosphere. At Summit Federal, you're a member, not an account number. Let us know how we can help you!

September is National Preparedness Month, and being prepared isn't just about flashlights and first aid kits—it's also about helping kids build smart money habits. 💙 This month's activity encourages families to talk about planning ahead, saving for unexpected expenses, and thinking through life's "what if" moments. Small conversations today can help build confident, financially prepared kids tomorrow.

Save the Date: Orchestra Tag Day is Saturday, September 12! 🎻One of the great traditions of the Stow-Munroe Falls String Orchestra Program is back. On Saturday, September 12, from 10 a.m. to noon, orchestra students in Grades 7–12 will visit homes throughout our community to share the 2026–27 concert schedule and collect donations to support the orchestra program.

Orchestra Tag Day is the program’s primary fundraiser and helps provide resources for string ensembles at Lakeview Intermediate School, Kimpton Middle School, and Stow-Munroe Falls High School.

Your support helps fund:
🎶 New music
🎻 New instruments and string accessories
🔧 Instrument repairs
🎼 Bow rehairs

At this time, donations can be made by cash or check.

Thank you for supporting our talented student musicians and helping keep the Stow-Munroe Falls String Orchestra tradition thriving! ❤️🎻
