Get ready for Social Hours ! We are kicking off One Aiken - open collaborations social media efforts for the new year with an organized agenda! We have revamped the Social Hours sessions, set dates for the next month, and set it up as a two week window for planning our business social media strategy and implementation.
We researched and decided on a social planning worksheet system we can use to document our plans and record results. And we will have guest speakers with social tips for the first 15 minutes. The first three sessions will talk about how to use the worksheets from some folks that have been experimenting with them.
Each hour and a half session will follow this program:
5 Min - Follow each other on social media and share one idea for how to cross promote others.
15 Min - Social Tips Host will share their experiences.
1 hour - Sit by yourself or with your team and plan the next two weeks of social media- setting goals, mapping out the posts, setting deadlines for your contracted out helpers to meet, and actually tracking what worked and what didn't.
10 min - Share plans and possible collaborations.
$20 a month One Aiken - open collaborations partner fee covers these sessions and what ever else you end up interested in joining. Hope you will join us. No RSVPs necessary. We will create an event for each session with details about topics, etc. so you can pick and choose sessions. It is the hour long discipline and osmosis that is the key to these sessions, IMO. I know I need it!
If you are a social media "expert" and would like to make extra money by teaching some 2 hour courses, please contact us. Our Collaboration Room is available to rent for $25/hour. There is so much for us all to learn!
