The State of Washington and District of Columbia have just joined California, New York, Delaware, Connecticut, and Maine as the latest states mandating employers train their employees in sexual harassment prevention. While DOL data indicates that more than 30,000,000 employees must still complete one hour of sexual harassment prevention training before the end of this year, a recent study shows less than 82 % of employers have yet to launch a systematic employee training program. Even fewer have even started the complicated process of total compliance, as required by the EEOC.
