This month, we’re proud to recognize Sandy Burnett as our ! Sandy has been a dedicated Loan Officer at our Advance location for 40 years. Throughout her career, she has developed lasting relationships with both customers and co-workers. Her compassion and willingness to help others have made her a valued part of our bank family for four decades.
When asked what she enjoys most about working at the bank, Sandy answered, “helping people.” Some of her customers even affectionately refer to her as their “Bank Mom”. Another customer shared with Sandy that she not only helped him finance his first car, but also his first home. Beyond her customers, Sandy considers working alongside her co-workers a bonus and says the bank is truly her second family.
Outside of work, Sandy’s greatest joy is spending time with her daughters and granddaughters. She loves being involved in whatever activities they are passionate about and is always ready to join in the fun. In fact, her family says they can usually talk her into just about anything, even convincing her to sit through a country music concert from time to time.
Sandy especially enjoys cheering on her granddaughters at their softball and basketball games. Sports are a big part of her life, and she is also a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, and sometimes the St. Lous Blues. When she is not at work or at ball games, she enjoys shopping and taking family vacations.
After 40 years of service, Sandy’s dedication and enthusiasm remain strong. In fact, she jokes that her biggest fear is retiring and not having enough to do. We are incredibly grateful for her energy and passion for helping others. Thank you, Sandy, for your years of dedication and service!
