Tuesday was a HOT but fun evening at our Bowen Banking Center. We served over 330 meals at our Customer Appreciation Drive-Thru Dinner on September 1 in Bowen, IL. Pork chop sandwiches, potato chips, applesauce, and cookies were on the menu.

We also gave out a few goodies and cash prizes during the event. Thank you to all our customers who stopped by and shared a meal with us!

Our August is Joshua Horrell, one of the newest Customer Service Representatives in our Advance location. Josh started working at the Bank of Advance only 3 months ago and has quickly become a valued member of the team.

One of the things Josh appreciates most about working at the bank is the strong sense of teamwork. He says his coworkers are always willing to help one another and everyone looks out for each other. He also enjoys getting to know and serve people, describing the customers he has assisted as “awesome”.

Outside of work, Josh is busy pursuing his education at Mineral Area College, where he is working toward a degree in Business Administration. He’s also a member of the track and field team and particularly enjoys competing in the javelin event. When he’s not working or attending classes, Josh enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

We’re glad to have Josh as part of our team and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes both here and in the future!
