Congratulations to Kale Wheeler and Mayci Wheeler purchasing their first home today using a VA Loan! 🇺🇸🏡

Just take a look at the little slice of heaven these two now get to call home.

Meeting young adults like Kale and Mayci restores your faith in the future. They were polite, respectful, driven, and genuinely grateful throughout the entire process. They may not realize it, but the pleasure was truly all mine.

A big shoutout to Steve Cutshaw with Cutshaw Properties for doing an outstanding job helping guide these first-time homebuyers every step of the way.

Also a huge thank you to my awesome processor, Emma Goss, for helping this file move through seamlessly from start to finish.

Happy 1 year work anniversary to Jennifer! This has been a great week of big milestones.

I am so excited to have celebrated my one year anniversary with Blue Collar Mortgage, NMLS 2466685 today!!! In this last year I have learned so much, had the opportunity to work with amazing colleagues, gained many business partners (as well as friends), and have had the opportunity to assist so many amazing families with their homeownership goals in both purchases as well as refinances. I could not image a more rewarding career and a better company to be a part of!

Got so busy today, I almost forgot to announce that today is our 3 year anniversary as a company! 🤩

Three years ago today, I went live to the public and a lot has changed since then!

When we started I was by appointment only at our Adrian office, because we didn't have enough business to make sense of being in the office 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I mostly operated out of my basement office.

I was the owner, loan officer, processor, closer, marketing department, accountant, compliance officer and housekeeper.

Just three short years later we now have a team of 6 people occupying 2 different locations. We have a sales team, an operations staff, and I've outsourced several of the duties I don't enjoy doing.

To say we've been blessed would be an understatement. I have a team that I genuinely love and goals that I never even considered.

Thank you to everyone who has been along for the ride, from our amazing clients, employees, families, referral partners, communities, and so many more.

🎉Join us in welcoming our newest team member, Izzy Swope!🎉

Izzy just completed her freshman year at Missouri State University, where she is working toward her BSA in Ag Business. Izzy will be working as a summer intern in our Loan Processing department.

We look forward to having her this summer and hope she can learn a great deal about the mortgage industry while also enjoying some of the most fun summer years of her life!

Oh to be on summer break in college again! 😅
