🍑 Did you know? Georgia grows more than 130 million pounds of peaches each year, and peaches are actually part of the rose family! 🌹

Peach season is here, and there’s no better time to support our local growers. Be sure to stop by participating certified farm markets or your local Farm Bureau office to pick up your Farm Bureau Passport before you start your peach shopping adventures! 🧺

As you visit markets and buy your fresh peaches, don’t forget to get your passport stamped along the way. Collect stamps, support local agriculture, and enjoy some of the sweetest peaches around! 🍑✨

And remember… life’s just "peachy" when your passport is full of stamps! 😄

Office Managers Lindsey Culpepper from Cook, Joni Phillips from Berrien, and Carla Palmer from Coffee got their GFB Passports stamped on the way home from their Leadership Conference! 🍓🍅

They made a stop at Mark's Melon Patch to add another stamp to their passports — and couldn’t leave empty-handed! They picked up beautiful tomatoes, fresh strawberries, canned salsa and queso, and of course, some of their famous strawberry lemonade. 🍓🥤

Have YOU picked up your GFB Passport yet?? 👀🚜

Please keep South Georgia in your thoughts and prayers as communities face the devastating impact of the recent fires. Families have been affected, and the brave firefighters working tirelessly on the front lines need our support now more than ever.

Our communities are coming together to help, and you can be part of that effort. We are currently collecting donations for firefighters, including items such as socks, sunscreen, snacks, sports drinks, and bottled water. Donations can be dropped off at Cook County Farm Bureau and at the Cook County Courthouse. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference and shows appreciation for those risking so much to protect our communities.

Thanks,
Cook County Farm Bureau
