On Saturday, July 11, Dallas County Farm Bureau was proud to announce its exciting new award, The Dallas County Farm Bureau Ag Business of the Year. This year, Wilson Farm Produce, LLC was honored with that title at the 2026 Dallas County Farm Bureau Membership Appreciation Dinner. This award honors businesses that have made a lasting impact on agriculture in Dallas County through outstanding leadership, dedicated service, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to supporting consumers, strengthening our rural communities, and advancing the future of agriculture.

We want to give a huge congratulations to Wilson Farm Produce LLC on the lasting impact, high-quality products, and integrity and professionalism Wilson Farm Produce shows here in Dallas County.

🥳Scholarship Spotlight: Cole Radke 🥳

Dallas County Farm Bureau is proud to announce seven students were awarded a scholarship to further their agricultural careers and education and will highlight each of the recipients. This week, we are proud to highlight Cole Radke, son of Marty and Trish Radke of Adel, Iowa. Cole is a 2026 graduate of ADM High School and plans to attend Kirkwood Community College this fall, majoring in Agricultural Business. Cole has been actively involved with extracurricular activities during high school, including 4-H Treasurer and Vice President, FFA, Football, Livestock Judging, and planning committee for Dallas County Main Event Cattle and Hog Show. When not busy with school and extracurricular activities, Cole has stayed busy volunteering for Grace Lutheran Church, ADM Little Tigers Football Club, and working after school.

When asking Cole why agriculture is important to him and his family, he notes “My grandparents, great grandparents, and great, great grandparents farmed in some capacity, and I would like to carry on that agriculture tradition for my family and future generations through a career in agriculture. Since a young age I have been immersed in agriculture through my family, 4H, Livestock Judging, FFA, and showing at the Dallas County Fair, and have been lucky to have many positive mentors in the field because of those experiences. The field of agriculture is full of good, hardworking people and I’ve always wanted to stay a part of that culture.” Congratulations, Cole!
