We’d like to offer a big South & Western welcome to our newest teammate: Lou Lerant, S&W Business Development Specialist.
Lou is responsible for compiling data/reports in meaningful ways to drive sales goals and to increase revenue. Collaborating with our sales and marketing teams, he will focus on growth and expansion.
Lou, who brings 11 years of insurance industry experience, said he is looking forward to driving business forward with a deep dive into data and details.
“I enjoy working with different departments and being able to tie them all together for a common goal,” he said.
The New Jersey native said S&W stands out in the market because of high customer service standards—a differentiator that enables agents to service their insureds expertly and expediently.
“Rapid turnaround times and quick responses to questions allow the agents to get back to what they do best, and that’s writing more policies,” Lou said.
Outside of the office, Lou enjoys traveling, visiting local breweries/restaurants, and leading an adult kickball team (as captain).
What are some of his favorites? He cites the Lord of the Rings trilogy (movies), What We Do in the Shadows (TV show), the New York Giants (team), and Asian (food).
Speaking of food, Lou took a brief hiatus from the insurance industry and opened a burger place, The Harrisburger, in Harrisburg, PA. He said it was an experience and life lesson he’ll never forget.
