Be intentional.
Be mindful.
Be consistent.
And most of all… Just f**kin’ do it.
I’ll admit, it was a helluva time waking up to completed applications, a full pipeline and your texts/inbox ringing off the hook throughout the day. All this with very little effort, but those days are gone. Here’s a couple things I call my “non negotiables” that my team and I make sure to tackle everyday, regardless of what’s on our calendars.
1. **Being Social with a Purpose**: Each day, I try to share something useful, educational, conversational etc on social media. It's an amazing way to keep in touch with new folks we meet, and those we’ve known for years. Stay top of of mind, stay relevant, be a resource and do it all with a genuine sense of empathy.
2. **Consistent Conversations**: I make it a point to spend at least two hours every day on the phones. This isn't just cold calling. It's about reaching out to new folks, checking in with past clients, touching base with our Realtor partners, chatting with our circle of influence, and following up on active preapprovals. It's a crazy thought, but a lot of professionals don't dedicate this much time (or time at all) to the low hanging fruit.
