Last week, our DacotahGrown interns spent time volunteering with the Salvation Army in Aberdeen, helping pack lunches for the Feed the Kids program and assisting with distributing meals to children throughout the community. Their efforts helped ensure local kids had access to nutritious meals while school is out for the summer.

At Dacotah Bank, we believe investing in our communities means showing up, lending a hand, and making a positive impact wherever we can.

Dacotah Bank was proud to sponsor Free Haircuts for Kids, an event hosted by Project Seven 01 Barbershop. 📚✨

Thanks to the efforts of Project Seven 01, more than 65 children received free haircuts, and each child also received a goodie bag to take home. Events like these make a meaningful difference for families and reflect the power of community partnerships.

As part of their summer internship experience, our interns recently spent time in Sioux Falls exploring different areas of Dacotah Bank and gaining a broader understanding of how we serve our customers and communities across Dacotah Territory.

During their visit, they connected with teams from Information Technology, Treasury Management, Deposit Strategy, Credit Risk, and CARES, learning how each department plays an important role in delivering exceptional service and supporting our customers' financial goals. 🌟

Experiences like these help our interns see the bigger picture of community banking while building relationships, expanding their knowledge, and preparing for future success. This summer, we’re coming together for our company-wide Giving Tree School Supplies Drive! 🎒✏️

We’re joining forces across all of Dacotah Territory to support local teachers and students helping provide essential classroom supplies that are often purchased out of teachers’ own pockets.

📅 The drive runs throughout the months of June and July.
Together, we’ll share one powerful message of care and community.
