The IT Sys/Ops and Security area provides technical support for the company’s hardware, software, operating systems, communications, and all supporting systems.

Performs nightly computer operations including:
- Monitors, facilitates and assures completion of nightly computer operations, jobs, and processes.
- Follows run sheet and updates checklist.
- Monitors and responds to system console for conditions/messages requiring further attention.
- Mounts and un-mounts tape cartridges as required.

Reports hardware & software problems to supervisor, opens tickets and contacts On-call technical staff.

Ensures that building is secured, all external doors are locked, and lights turned off before exiting building.

Performs tape exchange at offsite storage location.

Conduct semimonthly generator tests.

Proposes modifications and/or enhancements to the supervisor.

Makes appropriate changes to documentation as needed.

Maintain the security and privacy of all company data.

Handles customer service inquiries and complaints, and if necessary, performs research duties to resolve a borrower's more complex issue.

Responds to inbound correspondence (email and regular mail), telephone calls and voicemails in accordance with departmental Service Level Agreement.

Collects delinquent accounts from date acquired to date paid in full. This includes maintaining accurate and current customer information through contact with customers by various means of communication.
