Governor Murphy and Monmouth Senator Vin Gopal announced that the food delivery service DoorDash has donated $500,000 to the New Jersey Restaurant and Hospitality Association to assist New Jersey restaurants from losses related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Independent restaurants will be able to apply for $2,500 or $5,000 in funding which can be used to pay rent or to purchase PPE, cold weather equipment, or other essential supplies.
