Leadership Vermilion Ag Day was a huge success. Thanks to all the farmers that allowed us to tour their fields and facilities.

Vermilion hosted another very successful farm tour for the Marcus Oldham Agriculture students from Australia on Thursday, August 13th. We made six farm visits throughout the day teaching them about sugarcane, alligators, crawfish, rice, beef cattle, and show cattle with the final stop at the Farm Bureau office with a drone demonstration. Thanks to all of our local producers for opening their farms to these students.
