We are especially excited about the new United Way of Acadiana Abbeville Early Learning Center, which will serve as an important resource for children and families in Vermilion Parish. Access to quality early childhood education is critical to the success of our workforce, our families, and our community, and this investment represents a significant step forward for our area.

What started in 2019 as a simple desire to restore a well-loved baseball glove has grown into a thriving family-owned business right here in Abbeville. Founded by Lenny, Cajun Glove Doctor specializes in glove relacing, restoration, and engraving, helping players bring new life to the gloves that have been with them through countless games and memories.

But that's not all! In addition to glove restoration, Cajun Glove Doctor also offers custom engraving and personalization services, including custom hats, cups, tumblers, and promotional items. Whether you're looking to add a company logo, team branding, or a personalized touch to a gift, Lenny and his team can help bring your vision to life.

A lifelong baseball player and coach, Lenny turned his passion for the game into a business that serves athletes, teams, businesses, and families throughout the region. Today, he, his wife Codi, and their son Leo operate their shop in Abbeville and travel to tournaments across Louisiana in their mobile unit, providing expert services wherever they're needed.

We love seeing local entrepreneurs turn their passions into successful businesses, and Cajun Glove Doctor is a perfect example of the hard work, creativity, and family values that make Vermilion Parish special.

• Valid, clean driver’s license
• Able to work occasional weekends
• Ready to become a valuable asset to our termite team
