“The World Fund for Development and Planning "(WFDP) specialist in the field of capacity building, skills development, enterprise development of International educational and training institutions in various specialties and types of development and integration and also engages in the cross-organizational cooperation and interaction with the UN system, specially institutions having internships, fel
lowships and other training opportunities, fostering of permanent dialogue with UN and non-UN institutions on salient issues of concern to the international community, inter alia, structural adjustment policies and the impact of external debt, disarmament, planning, development and economic security, environmental issues, science and technology for development, human resources development, triangular arrangements and international cooperation among developing countries, human rights, membership recruitment and other services will be provided to WFDP membership and the public at all. All WFDP activities, including seminars and special reports, are devoted solely to United Nations matters and are implemented in close cooperation with agencies and organizations of the UN system. WFDP promotes the vital role of the UN in educating and training for development and peace, Specially among young people.
