East African Premier Investments Limited (EAPIL) is a private company limited by shares. It was founded and registered in 2006 by Uganda Development Trust (UDET), to hold and manage CRG funds. EAPIL is established by law, and regulated by the Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority (UMRA) for money lending business, to do sustainable and competitive business in the Republic of Uganda and the East Africa region, and thus contribute to the development of a Private Sector Driven Economy of the county. EAPIL was set up as a lending vehicle for Uganda Development Trust (UDET), to utilize Community Reimbursement Grant (CRG), funds collected from United States African Development Foundation (USADF) funded projects that were funded before 2005.
