Muwebwa SACCO Ltd, registered on 18th February 2019, is a Microfinance Institution (MFI) aimed at improving the quality of life of its members especially small, medium and microenterprises in both urban and rural areas of Uganda. The SACCO is currently registered with the Cooperative Department of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives under registration number 375/RCS. The operations are headed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) supported by a team of professional staff, supervised by the Executive Committee (EC) consisting of six members with diverse skills and expertise. To date, the SACCO has operations in Luuka District in eastern Uganda targeting 3000 household small holder farmers and in the Great Kampala Area of Wakiso, Kampala and Mukono Districts respectively with clientele base of 2000 members. In addition, to providing financial service of savings and loans to members, the SACCO is investing in the constructing the following Projects at Nawaaka Village ‘Ikumbya sub county Luuka District Eastern Uganda. 1) Muwebwa Agro –Industries Industrial Park and Skilling Centre; 2) Muwebwa Medical Center; 3) Mewebwa Education Services consisting primary and secondary Schools; 4) Muwebwa Bakery and Confectioneries Plant; 5) Muwebwa Crop science and Livestock Model Farm
Vision: To see a successful Uganda population in business impacted by Muwebwa SACCO quality and sustainable financial products and services by time frame.
Mission: To effectively provide technical and financial services that builds the capacity of entrepreneurs especially MSMEs stallholders’ farmers to operate farming businesses of consistent quality and on a sustainable basis.
