Dear friend. We sleep under the heavy weight of poverty and poor governance due to corruption. We wake up to tales of impunity and tales of plunder of public resources. We lament the scourge of corruption but it is us who elect crooks to positions of power, it is us that praise and glorify corrupt individuals. We know their assets but we don't report them. We see their extravagant lives but we take no action. We need to wake up before we descend into anarchy.
