🤝🏻 On May 12, 2026, in London, UK, over 300 Ukrainian tech founders, investors, and operators walked into the same room, many for the first time in years.

That's the Endeavor Ukraine effect.

Across Endeavor's 50+ country network, Ukraine's tech ecosystem has quietly become one of the most globally distributed in the world. Founders are now scattered across continents. Teams split across time zones. Capital raised from places that didn't know Ukraine's tech scene existed five years ago.

Новий трек орієнтований на українські стартапи, які вже мають готовий продукт і платних клієнтів. Його головна мета — допомогти командам вийти на ринок США через практичну роботу з продажами, нетворком і фандрейзингом.

Акселерація завершиться місячною офлайн-програмою у Сан-Франциско — одному з головних центрів глобальної технологічної екосистеми.

🇺🇸 The Ukrainian YEP Accelerator has announced the opening of a representative office in San Francisco and the launch of a new international track for startups

The new track is aimed at Ukrainian startups that already have a finished product and paying customers. Its main goal is to help teams enter the U.S. market through hands-on work with sales, networking, and fundraising.

The acceleration program will culminate in a month-long in-person program in San Francisco—one of the main hubs of the global tech ecosystem.

During the final Demo Day, startups will have access to $1,500,000 in potential investment from partner venture capital funds, including: u.ventures, ZAS Ventures, Geek Ventures, Angel One Fund, Vesna Capital, Green Flag Ventures, Network VC, Dnipro VC, and Flyer One Ventures.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 UMAEF supported the participation of the Ukrainian delegation in SelectUSA Investment Summit 2026: new partnerships, investment negotiations and scaling of Ukrainian startups in the USA

On May 3-6, the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2026 was held in Washington, D.C. — one of the largest international summits for attracting investment and business development in the USA.

This year, the largest Ukrainian delegation joined the event — more than 50 representatives of the Ukrainian technology ecosystem. Results of the participation of Ukrainian startups:

🔹 Soft Way began discussions on the potential attraction of $2 million in investment to open an office and scale the product in the USA. The team also established contacts with Nevada, Ohio, Sony, and international companies from India and Finland.
🔹 AllClinicalTrials became one of the few international startups that got the opportunity to pitch their product as part of the official Startup Pitch Competition on the stage of the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2026.
🔹 InputSoft began negotiations on pilot projects in the field of civil aviation and established contacts to enter the US and Latin American markets.
🔹 Karpatia Benefits received contacts to enter the California HR community and test the product on the American market.

During the summit, the Ukrainian delegation also met with representatives of the US government and the diplomatic sector, in particular with US Deputy Secretary of Commerce David Vogel and the Ambassador of Ukraine to the US Olga Stefanishyna. During the meetings, they discussed strengthening Ukrainian-American cooperation in the field of innovation, technology, and support for Ukrainian companies in the US market.

🤝🏻 The participation of the Ukrainian delegation in the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2026 was organized by the Міністерство цифрової трансформації України and Ukrainian Startup Fund with the support of the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund, the U.S. Commercial Service, and the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.

🎓 Завершилася програма пʼятого набору Education for Victory

З рекордних понад 250 заявок було відібрано 27 учасників, які представляють 23 українські інституції. До спільноти Education for Victory долучилися сильні лідери — представники державного сектору, місцевого самоврядування, громадянського суспільства та військові.

У межах програми відбулося понад 28 лекцій від провідних світових експертів. Зокрема учасники мали 6 організованих зустрічей з представниками:
🔹 European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD),
🔹 J.P. Morgan,
🔹 Chevening Awards (FCDO),
🔹 CRH,
🔹 а також зустрілися з послом України у Великобританії Валерієм Залужним,
🔹 відвідали британський парламент, де поділилися українським досвідом.

«Поруч з індивідуальним лідерством, ми прагнемо підсилювати команди на різних управлінських щаблях. Програма допомогла учасникам усвідомити міжнародний контекст, місце України у ньому, та навчила використовувати це в державній політиці у своїх сферах», — Ірина Озимок, директорка програми місцевого економічного розвитку UMAEF.

🎓 The fifth cohort of the Education for Victory program has concluded

From a record-breaking total of over 250 applications, 27 participants representing 23 Ukrainian institutions were selected. Strong leaders from the public sector, local government, civil society, and the military have joined the Education for Victory community.

The program featured over 28 lectures by leading global experts. In particular, participants attended six meetings with representatives from:
🔹 EBRD,
🔹 JP Morgan,
🔹 FCDO,
🔹 CRH,
🔹 as well as meeting with Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the UK,
🔹 and visiting the British Parliament, where they shared Ukraine’s experience.

“Alongside individual leadership, we aim to strengthen teams at various management levels. The program helped participants understand the international context, Ukraine’s place within it, and taught them how to apply this knowledge to public policy in their respective fields,” — Iryna Ozymok, UMAEF’s Local Economic Development Program Director.

Latitude59 – головна технологічна конференція Естонії та одна з ключових startup-подій Північної Європи, цьогоріч відбудеться 20–22 травня у Таллінні. Щорічно івент збирає разом понад 3000 учасників з 60+ країн.

На конференції стартапи презентують свої продукти на стенді України та під час пітчингів перед топовими інвесторами Балтії, а також візьмуть участь в українських сайд-активностях. Latitude59 is the main technology conference in Estonia and one of the key startup events in Northern Europe, this year it will be held on May 20-22 in Tallinn. Every year the event brings together over 3,000 participants from 60+ countries.

This year, Junior Achievement Ukraine joined the international Global Money Week initiative for the third time, coordinated in Ukraine by the National Bank of Ukraine. Thanks to a strategic partnership with the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund, the educational campaign reached the entire country, turning the two weeks into a continuous interactive marathon of knowledge.

🤝🏻 More than 100 entrepreneurs from across Moldova gathered at Glia Impact Hub for “WhatWorks: Finance for Your Business”, an event dedicated to one of the most critical growth drivers for companies: access to funding.

Organized as part of the XY Partners E-commerce Incubator: Marketing Booster series and backed by UMAEF, the session delivered a useful agenda focused on practical financing solutions. Over the course of few hours, participants engaged in direct discussions, explored real business cases, and identified actionable pathways to finance growth.

The agenda featured three thematic panels, featuring UMAEF, and one dedicated segment, covering the full spectrum of financing options available to Moldovan entrepreneurs.

✅ As a result entrepreneurs left with a better understanding of financing mechanisms, clearer next steps, and new connections to support their growth.

📈 Scale-Up Moldova: How local entrepreneurs have learned to speak the investors` language

Scale-Up Moldova, implemented by Glia Impact Hub in partnership with AFAM - Asociația Femeilor Antreprenoare din Moldova and supported by the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund, has enrolled 57 companies with annual revenues exceeding one million dollars. Of these, 22 advanced to the intensive phase, and seven received individual mentoring to develop investment packages, financial models, and corporate governance structures. The six finalists (Doina Vin, Dina Cociug, Apifera, Djofra-M, Plastal, and Panilino) gave presentations to the funds Anders Invest / DOB Equity / VSB Investments, Morphosis Capital, UMAEF, and Diligent Capital Partners.
