POSITION SUMMARY
The Head of Finance is responsible for creating forecasting models, assessing risk in investments, and ensuring all investment and accounting activities comply with regulations. He/she is responsible for driving extensive and sustainable business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for leading the finance and accounting functions of the company. Your key responsibilities will include:
§ Developing and implementing finance strategies that align with the overall business objectives of the company.
§ Establishing and maintaining robust financial controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
§ Designing and implementing effective budgeting and forecasting models for the company.
§ Analyzing financial information such as revenues, expenses, and cash management to ensure that all operations are within budget.
§ Providing guidance and support to senior executives in making value-maximizing decisions.
§ Liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
§ Overseeing the preparation of monthly financial statements, cost reports, and other financial reports.
§ Managing and maintaining company stock, fixed asset, and depreciation records.
§ Approving payments above Finance Manager limit and releasing payments.
§ Leading efforts in financial fraud prevention and detection.
§ Ensuring compliance with all statutory reporting requirements.
§ Maintaining good relationships with suppliers, customers, and debtors by attending to queries
and complaints.
§ Ensuring an efficient and cost-effective company-wide procurement and purchasing service.
§ Guiding and counseling finance staff to meet departmental targets and improve quality.
§ Managing investor relations and board finance reporting.
§ Any other duties assigned by the Executive Director from time to time.

As a CFO in a fintech company, you will need to have excellent knowledge of financial regulations and standards, as well as experience in managing financial operations in a technology-driven company. You should be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS
§ bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
§ CPA(T), ACCA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification required.
§ 5+ years of senior financial management experience, including experience as a CFO.
§ Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple projects
simultaneously.
§ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
§ Proven leadership skills.
§ Ability to articulate and convey complex financial concepts to management and key stakeholders.
§ Technical depth and understanding of the financial services sector in Africa will be considered a distinct advantage.

POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to join our team. Reporting to the CFO, the
Treasury Manager will be responsible for maximizing cash flow efficiency, generating passive income from idle funds, optimizing the company's overdraft facility, securing forex for scheme settlement, and prefunding for prepaid biller services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow, reduce financial risks, and maximize the return on idle funds.
§ Manage and optimize the company's overdraft facility, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.
§ Secure and manage forex for scheme settlement and prefunding for prepaid biller services, minimizing
exposure to foreign exchange risk.
§ Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to make informed

§ Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue
growth.
§ Experience managing a team and working collaboratively across departments.
§ Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
§ In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, including market research, advertising, and digital marketing.

GENERAL
Responsible for managing the financial activities of the Club including financial analysis and planning, accounting operations and reporting, budgeting and external audits.

DETAILED
1.Establishes or improves upon the Club’s financial policies and procedures
2.Leads all day-to-day accounting operations with functional responsibility for accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and administration.
3.Production of financial reports, proper maintenance of accounting records, accurate processing of financial transactions, and administration of comprehensive set of controls and budgets.
4.Supervise the accounting and HR associate in areas of benefits administration, new-hire onboarding, and other related functions.
5.Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all transactions and assets.
6.Prepare and analyze accurate monthly financial and management reports including income statement, balance sheet, budget and variance, projections and forecast, and cash flow.
7.Maintain control of the following areas; general ledger, account payable, expense reports, billing and payroll.
8.Prepare a variety of ad hoc financial scenarios as may be requested by Management.
9.Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately in a timely manner and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
10.Manage, oversee, process and act as back up for processing all of the following transactions; payroll, account payable, revenue and expense, fixed assets, cash, bank reconciliations and allocations.
