Housing Prices in Turkey on the Rise

The Real Estate Investing Partners Association (GYODER) has published a new report, which reveals what most savvy real estate investors already know. Housing prices in Turkey have risen substantially in the past year.
In fact, housing prices in Turkey have risen by over 12% since May of last year.
The research which supports this report concentrated on provinces such as Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, İstanbul, İzmir and Kocaeli, and includes both newly built homes and resale homes.
Antalya has experienced the highest increase in housing prices, followed by Ankara, Bursa, Kocaeli, İzmir, İstanbul and then Adana.
Rental pricing has also increased throughout Turkey. İzmir experienced the highest rise in real estate prices, followed by Ankaray, Adana, Kocaeli and Bursa. Surprisingly, İstanbul’s rank trailed behind Bursa.
The rising in housing and rental prices come at a time when inflation within the country is declining.
