TransVote “TransVote: The way towards an effective citizenship”

“TransVote: The way towards an effective citizenship” aims to provide information and raise awareness about the 2014 electoral process, targeting citizens located in neglected areas in the rural south of Tunisia. The project encourages marginalized groups to vote in the elections through, developing an awareness campaign, organizing debates on topics of concern to constituents, and bringing togeth

er civil society actors at round table discussions. The project also trains youth volunteers on public speaking, advocacy, and project management in order to advocate for their rights. The focus will be oriented to the Governorate of Sfax, Mahdia and Kairouan, which may change depending on political issue on ground.
