The Thailand Department of Medical Services has confirmed there are no reported cases of Ebola within the country. This statement follows the World Health Organization declaring the outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo a public health emergency.

Dr Nattapong Wongwiwat stated that health authorities are actively monitoring the situation and tracking potential contacts. Ebola transmits through direct contact with bodily fluids rather than through the air.

The department has coordinated with relevant agencies to prepare isolation rooms and protective equipment. Public health officials advised the population to remain calm and follow standard hygiene practices.

Police Fines Unregistered Lamborghini on Vibhavadi Road, Driver Claims to Be Broke

Police Sergeant Major Thee Khabjanthuek, widely known as Sergeant Ouan, recently shared the moment he pulled over a luxury Lamborghini Huracán STO on Vibhavadi Road.

Sergeant Ouan, a squad leader at the Vibhavadi Rangsit/Expressway Traffic Control Center and the owner of a popular page.

The officer issued 2 charges: driving without a license plate and using an unregistered vehicle for over a month but less than six months. The total fine is approximately 2,000 baht.

Upon hearing the penalty, the driver reportedly told the officer, "Wow, bro, I really don't have much money."

Sergeant Ouan then advised that the actual owner of the supercar should be the one to handle the fine. He explained that the owner could simply scan a barcode to pay the penalty online from anywhere, acknowledging that the person behind the wheel was just driving the vehicle at the time.

Authorities have been told to monitor weather conditions and disaster risks closely, deploy rapid-response teams and equipment in high-risk areas, and be ready to provide immediate assistance if needed. The public has been urged to follow official forecasts and warnings closely, check that homes and structures are secure, avoid open areas, large trees, billboards and unstable buildings, and beware of lightning.
