The family became WRlife customers in January 2024. During a trip to Russia, their seven-year-old child developed a fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and nausea. After seven days of unsuccessful self-treatment, the child's condition worsened, and the mother also began feeling unwell.
Following a visit to the doctor, both were hospitalized in moderate condition. They received treatment for three days and were discharged, with total medical expenses of 106,413 rubles, which the family had to pay themselves.
Upon returning to Thailand, they applied for reimbursement but were denied due to the treatment being outside the insurance coverage area. The family then reached out to us, providing all the necessary medical documents translated into English, along with passport photos showing entry and exit stamps from both Thailand and Russia. According to the terms of the insurance policy, their stay in the home country could not exceed 90 days, and the policy only covered emergency situations.
We prepared a complete set of documents and successfully contested the insurance company’s decision. As a result, the entire amount was reimbursed to the family.
