As a notaphilist, this delights me. I have always advocated featuring our flora and fauna on the obverse side of our notes instead of political figures. The shift to polymer is also most welcome as a more secure and durable substrate. I hope to see more security measures such as the EURion constellation.

Another worthy addition to my banknote collection! On the obverse is Voila Desmond, a businesswoman who challenged racial segregation in a cinema in Nova Scotia in 1946. On the reverse is the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and an excerpt from the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
