🔴 ต้นทุนพุ่ง คนค้าขายต้องรับภาระ!
สงครามที่เกิดขึ้นไกลถึงตะวันออกกลาง กำลังส่งผลถึงชีวิตคนค้าขายริมทางในเอเชีย โดยเฉพาะผู้หญิง เมื่อราคาวัตถุดิบ บรรจุภัณฑ์ แก๊ส และน้ำมันสูงขึ้น แต่รายได้กลับลดลง
เสียงจากพี่น้องผู้ค้าหาบเร่แผงลอยสะท้อนชัดว่า แรงงานนอกระบบต้องการมาตรการช่วยเหลือที่เข้าถึงได้และเป็นธรรม ไม่ควรถูกทิ้งให้รับภาระจากวิกฤตเพียงลำพัง

Across Asia, street vendors are paying the price for a war thousands of miles away, left exposed by the lack of government support for workers in informal employment amid fiscal shock.
Earlier this year, the United States attacks on Iran triggered intermittent closures of the Strait of Hormuz trade route, triggering social and economic impacts across the world. Across Asia, street vendors - the majority of them being women - are struggling to make a living as the rising costs of ingredients, packaging, gas and fuel eat into their earnings.
“Women are absorbing these shocks from both the perspective of their households, managing food insecurity particularly, but also their businesses,” said WIEGO’s Ana Carolina Ogando in a The Fuller Project article that depicts the current situation of street vendors in Asia and which also includes quotes from WIEGO’s Marcela Valdivia, Puttinee Kophatta from HomeNet, Nastasia Tysmans from StreetNet, and others.
The article discusses different strategies and initiatives to overcome this challenging time, such as Thailand’s 60/40 economic stimulus package, in which the government subsidizes 60% of certain items.
