Dear All!! Below is very important information before you get an insurance with Krungthai Axa with iHealthy Ultra plan!
The waiting period:
A waiting period is a time an insured must wait before receiving some or all of their coverage.
Benefits for claims filed during the waiting period may be denied. Waiting periods are also referred to as elimination and qualifying periods.
Please see below for more information on the iHealthy Ultra package's waiting period:
(A) The company will not pay the benefit of this rider for any illness that occurred within
thirty days (30 days) but after day thirty-first to day ninety (31-90 days) pre-payment is required
& claim later from the effective date or the date that the company approval to increase the
benefit of this rider, whichever is later, or
(B) The company will not pay the benefit of this rider for the following illnesses that
occurred within one hundred twenty days (120 days) from the effective date or the date that the
company approves to increase the benefit of this rider, whichever is later. Tumour, cyst, or all
types of cancer, Hemorrhoids, All types of hernia, Pterygium or cataracts, Tonsillectomy or
adenoids, All types of stones, Varicose veins in the leg, Endometriosis
(C) The company will not pay the benefit of this rider that occurred within the first twelve
months (12 months) from the effective date or the date that the company approved to increase
the benefit of this rider but only with respect to the increased benefit, whichever is later for
Medical treatment for pre- and post- natal complication (For Silver, Gold, Dimond, Platinum
Plan), Pregnancy and Childbirth
Pre-existing condition:
The company will not pay any benefits to this rider for chronic disease, sickness (including
complications) or injury which is not completely cured before the policy rider commencement
date or reinstatement date of this rider whichever is the latest, except:
(A) Insured declare to the company and the company accept this risk without
condition to accept this coverage.
(B) This rider has been in force for at least 3 years with chronic disease, injury or
sickness (including complications) does not show any symptoms, does not
receive treatment or diagnosis by a doctor, and does not visit or consult a doctor
within 5 years before the first effective date.
