Our Story

Metro Trading Company was founded in 2000. Since then, we at Metro import and distribute canned food like Tuna, rice, oil, tea... all over the Syrian market. We have the biggest market share in Tuna under our brand (Lio). Our head office is in Latakia and we are located in different branches across Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Tartus.

Our main target is to always work with our suppliers, customers and consumers as partners with a very high quality of service.

We import from more than 10 countries around the world specially from world class suppliers.

In 2018 the company has expanded to build a new factory to produce canned food; under the label “Product of Syria”. Today, Sindyan factory produces canned Mushroom, Fava beans, White beans, tomato paste, pickles, Hummus and more. Our adding value in this factory is that all of our products are 100% preservatives-free and 100% natural food.
