🌙 Spica Between Venus and the Moon on August 18 ✨

On August 18, brilliant Venus (mag -4.5), Spica (mag 1.0), and the waxing crescent Moon will form a chain in the constellation Virgo.

Look above the western horizon after sunset. Venus and the Moon should be easy to spot with the naked eye, while Spica will become clearer as the twilight fades. The alignment will appear much higher in the sky from tropical and Southern Hemisphere locations.
